Create Line Features

Global Mapper provides various methods for drawing or creating new line features. Lines can be manually drawn, specified by a set of parameters, or generated based on other data. The following options are available in the Digitizer Menu: 

• Create Line Feature (Vertex Mode)
• Create New Line/ Area Feature (Trace Mode)
• Create Range Ring(s)/ Ellipsoids
• Create Distance/ Bearing/ COGO Line
• Create Grid
• Create New Line Feature from Selected Points
• Create New Lines from Selected Areas
