MapCatalogAddFile

Updated
globalmapper.MapCatalogAddFile(GM_LayerHandle_t32 aCatalogLayer, string aFilename, GM_LoadFlags_t32 aAdditionalLoadFlags) → GM_Error_t32

Adds a new map to the map catalog from a file on disk. The aCatalogLayer parameter should have either been created using MapCatalogCreate or loaded with one of the LoadLayer* functions.

Parameters:

  • aCatalogLayer (GM_LayerHandle_t32) – Handle to map catalog layer (either from loading or CreateMapCatalog)

  • aFilename (str) – Filename of map to add to the catalog

  • aAdditionalLoadFlags (GM_LoadFlags_t32) – Additional load flags. Note that GM_LoadFlags_LoadMetadataOnly, GM_LoadFlags_DisableSplit and GM_LoadFlags_HideUnknownPrompt already have special processing. Adding these here would turn them on unconditionally.

Returns:

Error Code

Return type:

GM_Error_t32

Example

The following is an example of MapCatalogAddFile.:

gm.MapCatalogAddFile(catalog_handle, resource_dir + file, gm.GM_LoadFlags_UseDefaultLoadOpts)
