Find and Fix Invalid Area Features

To find and fix invalid Area Features (i.e. Self Intersecting) among selected areas:

1. Select the area features that will be searched for invalid geometry.
2. From the right-click or Digitizer menus, select Analysis/ Measurement > INVALID - Find and Fix Invalid Areas/Polygons...  
3. A report dialog is then generated that lists each invalid intersection, and the location of the invalid intersections or areas.
   1. Features can be repaired individually by selecting them in the list before clicking Fix Invalid, or all can be repaired at once.
   2. Double click on a listed area to center the map on the invalid feature.
   3. The list of features can be exported to a CSV file.  
4. Click Fix Invalid. This works for some polygon types.
