Reprojecting Data

To reproject a file in Global Mapper, perform the following steps:

  1. Load the file into Global Mapper
  2. Go to Configuration > Coordinate Reference System to set the display Coordinate Reference System to the desired output projection. Jump to this setting by double-clicking on Current Workspace in the Control Center.

  3. Export the file using the File > Export menus, or by right-clicking on the layer in the Control Center and going to Layer > EXPORT

The data will be reprojected into the display projection during export. Note some file formats have a limitation on supported projections.
