Meridians and parallels are straight lines, intersecting at right angles on the Miller Cylindrical projection. Poles are shown as lines. This projection is used only in spherical form and provides a compromise between Mercator and other cylindrical projections. The "Miller Cylindrical" projection has the following parameters:
- Spherical radius
- False Northing
- False Easting
- Longitude of natural origin
Only a spherical form of this projection is used. The semi-major axis of the ellipsoid will be used as the radius of the sphere.
