The Azimuthal Equal Area projection is an equal-area projection with
the azimuthal property showing true directions from the center of the
projection. Its scale at a given distance from the center varies less
from the scale at the center than the scale of any of the other azimuthal
projections.
This projection provides an optional parameter
that will rotate the planar coordinates by the specified amount after
the projection (or before the inverse). The value should be provided as
an angular value east of north. If this parameter is not provided, it
will default to 0 (no rotation).
The "Azimuthal Equal Area" Projection
uses the following parameters:
False Northing
False Easting
Longitude of natural orgin
Latitude of natural origin

Auxiliary Sphere Type (optional; use to define Lambert azimuthal equal-area auxiliary sphere projection, as defined by Esri). Enter the code number to specify the sphere type:
0: Spherical; Use semimajor axis of the geographic coordinate system as radius
1: Spherical; Use semiminor axis of the geographic coordinate system as radius
2: Authalic sphere; Calculate and use authalic radius
3: Authalic sphere; Use authalic radius and convert geodetic latitudes to authalic latitudes
4: (or any other number): Reverts to ellipsoidal model
